Nestled in the Ozark Mountains overlooking Lake Norfork lies a small family mushroom farm in Tecumseh, MO.
After 23 years of factory style mushroom farming, Bob and Wendy Semyck brought their young family to the Ozarks to cultivate a healthier lifestyle on
March 3, 2004.
They specialize in growing Portabella, Crimini, White Button and Oyster Mushrooms in an indoor climate controlled facility.
Outdoors the Semyck Family grows an assortment of organic heirloom produce. They utilize the spent compost from their organically grown mushrooms and beyond organic methods to grow for their family and others.
They also raise a flock of chickens and ducks for eggs and have a small flock of Shetland Sheep for fiber.
In 2016 the Semyck's added West Plains to their address book.
Located just minutes to the west of West Plains they have organically raised heirloom produce, mushrooms, eggs and raw wool for sale at their West Plains farm.
