The family that grows the chickens also has some large birds. So, for those that do not like to have turkey... but favor chicken instead. Those birds are approximately 6 pounds each and are priced at $3.90 per pound. They are pasture raised with non-gmo feed ... just like we do here. Their birds are very good.
Micheal also told me that he has some ducks if anyone is interested.
If a roast is more your speed Ozarks Natural Beef has a selection of their grass fed beef to consider. Starting at $7 per pound. (pork is also available)
Don't forget the bread!
The Artisan's Oven has wonderful made from scratch breads using non-brominated flours. Such a wonderful difference from commercial bread.
Still bugging the gluten free baker for his list. He promised to have it to me by 5 pm today... not here yet, but watch... it will arrive when I leave the computer!
Instead of candy out in those candy dishes... consider putting my special trail mixes in them! They make a nice between meals treat.
You can see them and more on the order guide page of our website.
Well, I think I may have touched on everything I had intended to...
Watch for the "recipe ideas" I put into your boxes this week. There are several in there about the persimmons along with ideas for other dishes.
Please try to get your order in by Friday Evening.
Have a Wonderful Week!
